Frs L en 32 gr et non pas UL

Oups oui tu as raison, je me suis trompé, ça vient du fait que ma première voile achetée en 12 m chez Kitech était en 40 g, du coup je suis décalé. C'est bien une 32 g.

j'ai vraiment plaisir à partager avec vous sur ce forum que j'apprécie de plus en plus. Je continuerai à vous donner des retours mais une fois la saison qui commence ce sera plus difficile car je bosse h24 si je peux.

Laurent , je suis curieux de savoir si , grâce au nouveau tissus 'glissant', la Free-race se dépatouille seule, ou presque, lors des cravates? comme c'est le cas pour les Soul en Xglide. merci

A ta question: j'ai complètement oublié de le mentionner, la réponse est oui, j'ai décollé avec un 1/4 de l'aile cravaté. J'ai réussi à la poser sur son borde d'attaque et en tirant les avants, oh joie, la cravate s'est évaporée.
Comment on dit cravate pour un kite qui cravate en anglais by the way ? Quelqu'un sait-il le terme utilisé ?

What’s new since my first test ?

I was riding my big TT Easyboards today with the FRS 15 UL and I thought it would be interesting to check if it would still be possible to go upwind in the same wind conditions powered by the much smaller 6 m. At this moment the wind was merely around 12 to 15 knots.

In a word, I have to say that it did OK. That was kind of a surprise to me because I wasn’t overpowered at all with the 15 UL. I wonder if the wind was not even lower than the 12/15 knots I told you about some lines before…
Ok, using such big boards help a lot because you keep your speed even when you cross moderate to serious wind lulls.

One difficulty is when the wind is really in the very low range for this kite size (let’s say 10 knots) it becomes quite difficult to feel how to adjust the power/depower angle on your bar. The feed-back is not very easy to feel. But when it blows over 15, this problem disappears and the bar feedback is OK.

Surprise on the “beach”: due to terrible wind conditions close to trees and near upwind obstacles the Frs 6 m fold and collapsed in the middle of the power zone. I was rather scarred that it would open and pull me across the ground but what a surprise when it suddenly opened again with very mild traction. I thought. It somehow reminds me of the behaviour of the Concept’Air Wave that similarly has low power in the middle of the window. Therefore I think most of the power of the FRS 6 m comes on the edge of the window when you gain speed on your board.
I wonder if either of you who are reading me here had the same conclusions about that ?

Ok, these lake conditions where not really sufficient to use this kite and have freestyle moves, jumps … I could only cruise and go very well upwind but I think this kite will bring a ton of fun over 15 knots.
Nevertheless, these conditions shows that you can go back to the shore safely if your wind conditions suddenly collapse. I think the 6 m kite would have been perfect with a foil during this session but I had already loads of material to carry ☺. Sorry guys.

Et si tu n avais rien fait, ou juste tirer sur l arrière opposé, la cravate va t elle se defaire? plus facilement qu un modele au tissus standart?
je me demande si ces tissus amènent bcp aux ailes à caissons ? perso j ai l impression ,mais je cherche confirmation : )
